Dick van Dijk (1962) is a graduate of the Netherlands Carillon School and of the Royal Carillon School in Mechelen (Belgium).  Together with Mathieu Polak he is City Carillonneur of the Nieuwegein in the Park Carillon.  As well as in Cobh, this summer he will also play guest recitals in England and Denmark.  In 2009, Dick was made a Member of the Order of Orange Nassau, a royal honour recognising outstanding contributions to society.
