A graduate of the Netherlands Carillon School, Wim Ruessink is carillonneur of the Oude Calixtustoren in Groenlo and the Jacobstoren in Winterswijk.   He has been the recipient of awards for carillon.

Originally from Galway.   As part of his music degree at UCC Oisín studied carillon under Adrian Gebruers.   He also received a Quercus Performing Arts scholarship and the 2024 Staf Gebruers Memorial Award.

He’s presently pursuing two-year post-graduate studies at the Royal Carillon School in Mechelen (Belgium), including writing a thesis on contemporary composing for the carillon.   He’s also currently composing a carillon concerto.

A graduate of the Royal Carillon School in Mechelen (Belgium), of which he is currently a member of the teaching faculty, Eddy Mariën was also awarded an M.A. in music by the Lemens Institute in Leuven.   He is city carillonneur of Mechelen and Leuven and regularly features on the international circuit as recitalist, lecturer and teacher. He is also a frequent prize-winner at international carillon competitions.   As a carillon composer, his style is influenced by classical music, pop and jazz.
